    While the program is only available for you to sign up through your employer, you can enroll in a family plan that provides coverage to your spouse/partner, dependent children under age 26, and dependent parents. Dependent children aged 18-26 and dependent parents are eligible for consultation and restoration services. [PLEASE NOTE: Not all plans provide dependent parent coverage. Please check your benefit overview for details.]

  • When would my coverage start?

    You will be eligible for coverage as soon as you enroll. While some features begin as soon as you enroll, for certain features to work, such as financial threshold and social media monitoring, you must enter your account information for us to begin monitoring.

  • What if my employment status changes?

    Good news! If you leave or retire from your current employer, you can continue your coverage without interruption (subject to applicable law and the plan’s terms and conditions). Although payroll deduction will no longer be available, you can opt for other payment methods such as direct bank account deduction, credit card billing or home billing. Higher rates may apply.

  • Why would I need IDShield when my bank and/or credit card company offer a program?

  • When I activate credit monitoring, will it impact my credit score?

    No, activating credit monitoring on your IDShield account is considered a soft inquiry, which does not impact your credit score, as it is informational only and not a credit application. This differs from a hard inquiry, which occurs when you apply for credit. A hard inquiry can impact your credit score.
